An Ode to the Fohrgroni

We started this tradition of sending out cocktails as our annual holiday gift because we believe that sharing a drink, no matter how casually, is a worthwhile way to affirm the delight of being alive together.⁠⁠ Thus, it doesn't surprise me that we fell in love with the idea of a cocktail packaged in a humble aluminum can as the perfect way to encourage people, not to save the bottle away on a shelf for some distant future moment, but to create a new one in the present. Open it with a friend, bring it to a bonfire, ask someone you love a new question, toast what you accomplished this year, or what you plan to do next.⁠⁠ Cormac McCarthy wrote in one of those Westerns I love, “Between the wish and the thing the world lies waiting.” ⁠A simple sentence of unending depth, a call to action, a bit of cowboy wisdom to drink to.
